Where are we today?
Where will we be tomorrow and what will our legacy be? As we prepare for our 20th anniversary in 2019-2020, our vision is changing and we seek to be where this region needs us. It is time to ask: “Are we doing all we can to enrich, engage, and educate a new generation through music and live theatre?”
We strive to balance honoring rich historical traditions, educational expansion to new audiences and generations, and the exploration of the new and the innovative in this broad, varied, and multifaceted art form.
Our Mission Is Professionalism
We are in a great city among great people. Our primary goal is to be a thriving arts organization that gives to that community while providing world-class service and artistic values. Our mission is to be an organization synonymous with professionalism and quality while preserving and growing this rare and beautiful art form:
music + theatre = OPERA
Our Mission Is Education
We seek to create an environment for professional development for students at our area schools and universities in order to broaden the horizons and stretch the imaginations of young people in our community.
Our Mission Is Partnership
We will continue to create a bond with established local artistic organizations and set new and different pathways for the development of the greater good by partnering with others that share the goals of engaging, enriching, and educating in our community.
We invite you to become part of our fan club as we continue to grow and help to build this great city. Thank you very much for your interest, and please feel free to contact us with any suggestions which you feel may be valuable for our community.
