Opera performance seminars
Offered to professional and emerging professional singers who wish to continue working on their artistic communication. A special summer week long intensive is also offered each summer. Particular attention is given to aria or song preparation and how it applies to the audition setting. Singers who are planning college or professsional auditions are encouraged to join the class. This summers seminar will feature five world-renowned lectures on the vocal health and how to be a professional singer in the new opera profession.

These classes can be customized to the educational needs of the participating group. Discussions can be introductory in nature or can concentrate specifically on a particular production within our current season. Asheville Lyric Opera has an active presence at UNC-A's Reuter Center.
